Think with STEAM
"Think with steam"okulumuz İngilizce Öğretmeni Nuray CAHAN'ın ortaklık yaptığı bir e-Twinning projesidir. Projede 6 ülkeden 16 katılımcı öğretmen bulunmaktadır. Projede disiplinlerarası bir yaklaşımla derslerin daha verimli ve eğlenceli hale getirilmesi amaçlanmaktadır. Öğrenciler, farklı disiplin sınırları boyunca fikirler ve kavramlar arasında bağlantı kurmayı öğreneceklerdir. Öğrenciler, öğrenme deneyimini derinleştirmenin bir yolu olarak bir disiplinde edindikleri bilgileri başka bir disipline uygulayabileceklerdir. STEAM ile öğretim ve öğrencilerin iletişim becerilerini geliştirmek projenin en önemli hedefleridir. Bu açıdan bakıldığında projede CLIL Yaklaşımı benimsenmektedir.
Proje hakkında
We aim to make the lessons more productive and enjoyable with an interdisciplinary approach. Students will learn making connections between ideas and concepts across different disciplinary boundaries. Students will be able to apply the knowledge gained in one discipline to another different discipline as a way to deepen the learning experience.Teaching with STEAM is also one of the most important goals of our project. We aim to improve students communication skills . From this point of view, CLIL Approach can be seen in our project.

ÇALIŞMA SÜRECI
Students will prepare slides or videos about healthy eating habits and nutritional values of foods and inform other students. They will prepare posters about people and the environment . We will organize mixed teams activities for our students . They will be informed about our rights and responsibilities. They will prepare videos by using Web 2.0 tools. Students will create games by using different Web 2.0 tools. Students will produce collective works like writing and singing a song. Each month students will present their works to their partners. Students will share their ideas about the future inventions. They will be informed about e-safety rules . Drama activities will help students communicate and empathise with the characters. Students will prepare online tests by using different Web 2.0 tools. Students will learn coding and produce games . There are math activies in our project about four operations.
BEKLENEN SONUÇLAR
Our final work will be decided with the partners. Our project is expected to implement CLIL Method of Teaching and Students are expected to ;
- learn how to use WEB 2.0 tools
- engage in meaningful activities
-improve their communication skills
-increase critical thinking
- become problem solvers
-embrace and appreciate collaboration
